DIRECTOR OF SALES (INTERNAL WHOLESALER)

Position based in Texas - Texas & Oklahoma Region

Sando Capital is currently seeking an internal wholesaler candidate to be Director of Sales for the Texas and Oklahoma region. This position facilitates and supports the sale of unique traditional and alternative investment products by building and maintaining meaningful relationships with financial advisors and RIA’s across the region. The Director of Sales will be working closely with their senior partners and fund portfolio managers to develop knowledge of fund investment strategies and portfolio characteristics. This position must conduct outbound calls with financial advisor clientele to share sales ideas, provide product information and offer sales support.
 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop a solid understanding of the investment products and strategies to become proficient at presenting their features and benefits both on the phone and at in person meetings

  • Interact proactively with existing producers and prospective financial advisors who have expressed interest in fund products

  • Work with distribution partner’s home offices to understand each of their platforms and policies and facilitate the distribution of available fund strategies on their various distribution platforms

  • Maintain client information in CRM based on conversations and interactions

  • Manage business in partnership with the regional team

  • Stay compliant in accordance with rules, policies, and procedures

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Preferred experience: mutual fund sales and/or financial advisor

  • Series 7 and 63 license required 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficient using technology 

  • Ability to converse knowledgeably with financial advisors and other key personnel about investment solutions and current economic and market conditions

  • Proven time management and organizational skills to build and maintain an active and effective call and meeting schedule

  • Ambitious, engaged, and entrepreneurial

MANAGING DIRECTOR OF SALES (EXTERNAL WHOLESALER)

This position facilitates and supports the sale of unique traditional and alternative investment products by building and maintaining meaningful relationships with financial advisors and RIA’s across the region. The associate will be working closely with their senior partner and fund portfolio managers to develop knowledge of fund investment strategies and portfolio characteristics.
